The Barnard House is a certified trail business and we welcome Cyclist to our home along the Allegheny river and Erie to Pittsburgh trail system.

The town of Emlenton is a Trail certified destination. Our many businesses support the trails and trail users. Here in Emlenton you will find, outfitters, groceries, restaurants, druggist, medical support, bank (atm), alcohol and beverage.

These reclaimed viaducts of recreation offer connections to towns and natural areas along the river's, creeks and valleys.The Allegheny trail which The Barnard House sits along is created by an active group of volunteer's that offer countless hours to land acquistion, community involvement and construction of trails. They are constantly seeking new members to support their mission of connecting and creating new trails and maintaining existing trails.
