The Next Chapter
Over the past few months our family rose to the occasion and labored long hard hours. Our historic homes were repaired, painted and marketed.Decisions were cast to create the smoothest transition into another lifestyle. Our adult children helped us along the way as strength and talents were needed to meet the many hurdles placed before us. All this was performed while we conducted business as usual and met the needs of our kind guest. We do everything within our family. You'll find no subcontractors here!
OUR JOURNEY
I have often wondered how many people these words actually reach. I don't expect them to captivate an audience though I would hope that someone finds them a benefit. The journey has been rewarding to us as a family. We certainly have learned a great deal a long the way. Meeting as children in a forested community along the river gave us roots in finding our way. Both of our parents sacrificed and worked extremely hard to provide us tiny cottages away from surburbia.
Safe Haven along the Allegheny
Indeed 2020 was a long year that brought us a prospective of our families and the world that we hope not soon forget. The year has turned a page but there is still a need to follow safety and protect those we love. Our family has learned a great deal over the past year. We were thrust together in our small rural town. We shared our small celebrations and dealt with lifes disappointments but with the knowledge we were so damn fortunate. We had our health and the protective love for one another. So many people would endure life with much less.
The Evolution of our Services
After 5 years as Innkeepers we have grown! Hundreds of guest have rested at our homes along the river. Meeting people is the best part of owning a bed and breakfast. Each person that stays with us enriches our understanding of what we need to expand on as an experience that won't soon be forgotten.
Recreation Evokes Change
It's been almost 5 years since our family up-rooted from the suburbs of Pittsburgh on a quest.
Our journey to settle along the Allegheny river in Emlenton, a rural town with historic glory which has struggled as many old industrialized towns. A metamorphosis of change is slowly taking place as this small town is being recognized as a receational hub of quality trails, waterways and unique environments.

Creative Concepts
Summer winds down and leads into Autumn, one door closes and another door opens along the Allegheny. The fall breezes bring a brillant color to the valley. We tend to move a little slower and the seasons clock reminds us of times continued count down.
